London Fire Brigade training at Franklin House on Wednesday 24th February

London Fire Brigade are visiting West Hendon estate on Wednesday 24th February 2016 to carry out a fire rescue exercise at Franklin House.

1-76 Franklin House has recently been vacated and is being prepared for demolition to build 207 new homes as part of phase 3B. The vacant high-rise building provides the brigade a valuable opportunity to simulate fighting a fire and rescuing dummies from height.

Thirty personnel with six fire engines will be present from 10am to 4pm to carry out the exercise.

Access to the estate and resident parking will operate as normal.
